EMC Consultancy
WEMEC’s Consultancy Team has an extensive breadth of skills and expertise allowing us to offer a comprehensive range of services and solutions, provide expert interpretation of requirements; whether contractual or legislative, along with all necessary documentation including control and test plans, test reports and technical construction files (TCF).
Contractual & Legislative EMC Approval
WEMEC offers a full analysis ensuring all EMC and Electrical related contractual and legislative requirements have been identified and understood, generate reports and presentations to demonstrate compliance to the user and ensure all necessary legislative documentation is completed.
On-site Assessments
WEMEC has the ability and equipment to perform on-site trials in a wide range of environments including but not limited to production facilities, offices, laboratories, offshore vessels, large platforms, remote locations.
EMC Safety
WEMEC offers consultancy upon the implementation of the CEMFAW Regulations / Physical Agents Directive 2013/35/EU (Electromagnetic Field, EMF). Employers must ensure that employees are not exposed to EMF levels exceeding these limits by undertaking an EMF exposure assessment.
System Design & Integration
WEMEC has vast experience in vehicle platform system integration through working with a number of DE&S Delivery Teams on a range of platforms. This includes armoured platforms to covert vehicles encompassing ISTAR and Situational Awareness Systems. WEMEC specialises in design analysis and design recommendations; including performance testing of electrical power systems and EMC characterisation and certification.
EMC Pre-Compliance & Risk Mitigation
WEMEC is experienced in identifying the risks to achieving compliance using risk registers and developing test methods to quantify these risks, and implementing design changes before the commencement of compliance testing. Techniques implemented by WEMEC ensure confidence is gained before compliance testing.
WEMEC offers and maintains risk tools such as risk registers to manage the EM risks associated with large project system engineering.
